John (JB) Torres

— JB Torres

John is a baseball hitting, pitching, fielding and conditioning instructor. He organizes and leads year-round summer and winter baseball clinics.

He has played at the collegiate and independent semi-pro levels and has coached high school and youth baseball levels for over ten years.

John’s baseball experience has allowed him to develop and foster a large network of coaches, high school and college baseball teams, as well as outside youth organizations. Many of these relationships have been cultivated through his participation with local associations, communities, schools, and through his volunteering as coach.

John is a certified NCAA and Independent College Baseball Umpire and currently plays for an independent baseball league. His love and passion for baseball goes beyond words.

Joseph (JT) Torres


Certified Personal Trainer, Health & Diet Coach

— JT Torres

JT is a certified fitness trainer. He instructs players in hitting, pitching, position play, base running, sliding and team defense with strong emphasis on agility training and sports conditioning. He teaches the art of teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship and confidence.

JT played Division 1 Baseball at Iona College and was part of the NECBL. He was named MVP the summer of 2013 and was selected to become part of Canadian Independent league in 2015.

JT has excellent communication skills both in group and individual settings. He is continually developing physical fitness programs to help keep young athletes in shape.

Mike Maldonado

Hitting, Skills Instructor

— Mike Maldonado

Mike has been a renowned hitting and skills instructor in the Brooklyn area for over two decades. He coached at Xaverian High School for 14 years and played an intricate part in the team’s immense success in the late 90’s and early 2000’s.

Mike was also a hitting and outfield coach at Bishop Ford High School for several years. Prior to his high school coaching experience, he was an assistant at local organizations like Brooklyn Amity School, St. Athanasius School, and Youth Service League.

Mike is the co-founder and assistant director of 2-Day Baseball Academy which has helped young baseball players develop through various clinics and camps.

 

Quetzy Torres

Quetzy is a proud member of the Zumba® Instructor Network (ZIN). She has an intense passion for dance. She has performed at numerous New York City dance stages with the Salsa Dance Troupe.

Her discovery of Zumba started her on a life-changing journey. Quetzy’s classes are fun, interactive and high energy.
